ELASTIC SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND POWER STEERING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibrations and noises of a car body and excellently maintain the vibration-proof effect for a long period of time.

SOLUTION: A housing 34 storing an electric motor and a pump is fixed to a bracket 36 through a vibration-proof member 35. The vibration-proof member 35 comprises a sleeve 43 and an elastic member 45 vulcanization-bonded to an outer peripheral surface 44 of the sleeve 43. End surfaces 52, 53 of a circular plate part 50 of the elastic member 45 are respectively provided with recessed parts 54, 55. Forming the recessed parts 54, 55 makes the elastic member 45 easy to bend for absorbing the vibration of the housing 34. The elastic member 45 is fixed to the sleeve 43 for preventing the elastic member 45 from being damaged by friction and being separated from the sleeve 43.
