DEVICE, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR READING MEDICAL FEE RECEIPT INFORMATION, AND DEVICE, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR ASSISTING IN SCREENING MEDICAL FEE RECEIPT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to detect errors in receipts and to appropriately allocate human resources correspondingly to the degree of inaccuracy with each receipt and the extent to which attention should be given.

SOLUTION: Character strings that are highly likely to be described on receipts are prepared as a dictionary. Among combinations of parts information read from the receipts as images, keywords that match the dictionary, if any, are registered as text data (S01). The keywords are extracted from items described on the receipts and data mining is carried out (S03). Based on rules obtained through the previous screening, rules with high credibility are extracted. Using the rules, the receipts are separated into those with few bill errors and those with many bill errors.
