<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color bar code that allows a device such as a general cellular telephone with a digital camera to be used as a bar code reader and can reduce the area of a bar code print part and increase information recording density, and a bar code reader therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The color bar code is formed by an array of regions color-coded with at least three colors (red, blue, green) so as to each correspond to one character code or given code.
