摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing heavy oil burned ash that is capable of effectively recovering useful matters such as vanadium, iron and the like from heavy oil burned ash by a simple installation and at a low cost, and further with high purity and with a high recovery ratio. <P>SOLUTION: The processing method of the heavy oil burned ash is comprised of a step of mixing the heavy oil burned ash containing vanadium and iron with an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid and the like to obtain acidic slurry, then conducting the solid-liquid separation of the acidic slurry to obtain a liquid matter containing vanadium and iron and a solid matter, adding acid to the resultant liquid matter, if necessary and adjusting the pH to 3 or lower, and mixing the liquid matter with an iron extraction solvent to extract iron in the liquid matter into the iron extraction solvent, a step of adding an alkalizing agent to the liquid matter after the removal of iron to adjust the pH to 8-10 and then adding an oxidizing agent thereto to oxidize vanadium in the liquid matter and a step of mixing the resultant liquid matter with a vanadium extraction solvent to extract vanadium in the liquid matter into the vanadium extraction solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
