PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-node system by which problems of a multi-node managing method are solved by making a node to which a terminal in communication belongs temporarily operate by a single-node managing method by receiving terminal information of another node. SOLUTION: IP telephone terminals 10-1 to 30-o included in nodes 100-300 request connection with partners. Then call controlling and processing parts 110, 210 and 310 of the corresponding nodes which received the connection request make a terminal information acquisition request for requesting for terminal information of the partners to nodes including the partners if they do not have terminal information of the partners in their terminal information databases 120, 220 and 230. They temporarily operate by the single-node managing method by taking the terminal information of the partners in the terminal information databases 120, 220 and 230 of their nodes in the above way.
