MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR METAL PLATE MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deformation of the upper face of a workpiece when a metal plate member having a level difference formed by coining working at opposing edges along in the longitudinal direction of slits by forming the slits at prescribed intervals to a belt-like workpiece. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the metal plate member is composed as follows. A first coining die 43 is pressed to the opposing edges along in the longitudinal direction of the slit 2. Next, a second coining die 44, and a third coining die 45 are pressed thereon. Accordingly, the coining working is executed. The first coining die 43 is so formed that it is inclined from the end part in the longitudinal direction of the slit 2 toward the center and the tip of the die face is made into a wedge shape. The second coining die 44 is so formed that it is inclined from the end part in the width direction of the slit 2 toward the center and the tip of the die face is made into a wedge shape.
