PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of an intake check valve which is arranged in an air intake passage of a gas compressor so as to prevent counterflow of gas when the operation is stopped, to decrease the number of components and to reduce the cost. SOLUTION: Permanent magnets 34a, 31a having polarities which attract each other are attached to a seal section of a valve core 34 and a seal section of a stopper 31, respectively, so that the valve may be closed by the attraction force of the magnets 34a, 31a. When the operation of the gas compressor is stopped, the valve is closed by the attraction force of the magnets, and during operation of the gas compressor, the air suction force of the gas compressor overcomes the attraction force of the magnets so as to open the valve.
