PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-furnace scale pulverizer capable of correctly pulverizing rock-like scale which is deposited on a hearth of a heating furnace and melted/solidified. SOLUTION: The pulverizer comprises a ball shooting device 22 to accelerate and shoot balls 20 fed between two rotary disks 23 and 23 toward scale 61 deposited on the hearth 60 of a heating furnace, a ball charging device 21 to feed the balls 20 to the ball shooting device 22, and a mobile truck 11 moving on the hearth 60 with the ball charging device 21 and the ball shooting device 22 mounted thereon.
