<p>Configuration control of a programmable device using configuration data of different formats. It is possible to provide a configuration method for realizing effective and high-quality configuration for a programmable device and a circuit thereof. The configuration method is for a plurality of types of programmable devices (PLL device (32), FPGA devices (34, 36, 38), and DSP device (40)) requiring configuration data of different formats. A plurality of types of configuration data corresponding to each programmable device are stored in a memory (memory card (44)). From a plurality of programmable devices linked to the memory, programmable devices to be configured are successively selected. Configuration data selected from the configuration data is transferred from the memory to the programmable device selected.</p> |
