PURPOSE:To manage the number of copy sheets of plural copying devices by means of a portable memory device by updating the number of copy sheets at every division where the portable memory device stores based on a copying operation. CONSTITUTION:The portable semiconductor memory (memory card 4) is connected to the main body of the copying device with a connector 5. The connector 5 generates a signal CP in the case of detecting that the memory card 4 is connected. Then, the memory card 4 is connected to the connector 5, and the copying device is brought into a copying permission condition only when ID code registered on the memory card 4 is inputted by a key operation part 9. In receiving a signal counting the number of copied sheets sent from the main body of the copying device, the contents of data on the number of the copied sheets corresponding to the ID code is incremeanted and the subsequent copying is inhibited by the ID code when the contents of the data table is coincident with the number of copy sheets limited by the ID code. Thus, the number of the copy sheets of the plural copying devices can be managed with the memory card 4. |
