<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately send a photographic image to the sending address of the photographic image by referring to information on a preregistered person even if sending is instructed by human figure designation and sending is instructed by image designation. <P>SOLUTION: The photographic image is analyzed. When a registered person image is included in the photographic image, the correspondence between the person and the photographic image is stored and managed as association information 7. When the sending by human figure designation is made by user instructions, the association information 7 corresponding to the human figure destination is referred to for identifying the photographic image to be sent, registered person data 6 corresponding to the human figure destination are referred to for identifying a mail address, and a mail to which the photographic image is attached is sent to the destination.
