摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid high polymer type fuel cell that dispenses with separately providing and operating a device, contributes to the miniaturization of a fuel cell and the reduction of costs by a simple configuration, and can improve generation efficiency; and to provide a hydration method of the solid high polymer type fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell 1 has a solid polymer electrolytic film 10 and electrodes (a fuel electrode 11, an air electrode 12) arranged on each of surfaces; and generates electric power by supplying a hydrogen gas 8b and an oxygen gas 9b to the electrodes (11, 12). The area of electrode on the opposing surfaces (10a, 10b) of the solid polymer electrolytic film 10 facing the electrodes (11, 12) each is larger than that of film opposing surfaces (11a, 12a) of the electrodes (11, 12) facing the solid polymer electrolytic film 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
