<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive array antenna directivity control system in which an optimal path for communications is selected in accordance with the situation of communications with a mobile station, and an interference elimination effect can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: In the adaptive array antenna directivity control system, a power value and the arrival angle of a signal on each path received in a plurality of antenna elements comprising an adaptive array antenna which is provided in a CDMA base station, are measured, a path desired for transmission is selected on the basis of the measured results, weight control based on the measured results is applied to a signal to be transmitted from each antenna, and the signal is outputted by radio as a transmission signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
