SOLUTION: A gradation characteristics forming section 9 forms conversion data Dcvt having gradation characteristics changed in the gradation characteristics from display data D regulating the gradation of a pixel by referencing a conversion table in which correction factors ΔDlx and ΔDtl are reflected in the contents of description. A data line driving circuit 4 uses processing of the kind different from that of the gradation forming section 9 and drives the pixel 2 after correcting the gradation characteristics of the conversion data Dcvt by the correction factors ΔDta, ΔDd and ΔDmura.
