ATMOSPHERE CLEANING METHOD UTILIZING SUNLIGHT AND ITS APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atmosphere cleaning method decomposing a harmful chemical substance in the atmosphere using the sunlight as a main energy source and continuously decomposing/removing it by a catalytic reaction and capable of simply treating an environment pollution gas at a low cost and its apparatus.

SOLUTION: In the atmosphere cleaning method, after the harmful chemical substance in the atmosphere is adsorbed to an adsorbent material, the harmful chemical substance is decomposed/removed by a photocatalyst. The sunlight collected by a sunlight collector is received and a heating temperature of the adsorbent material and the photocatalyst is adjusted. The adsorption and desorption of the harmful chemical substance are controlled. Thereafter, the desorbed harmful chemical substance is brought contact with the photocatalyst to decompose it.
