<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visually inspect a leak between pixels of a color liquid crystal display element, comprising TFTs employing a delta array as a pixel array, with ease. <P>SOLUTION: The color liquid crystal display element having a delta array of three primary-color pixels of R, G, and B is characterized in that: odd-numbered source lines are connected to a 1st source-side inspection terminal TS0 and even-numbered source lines are connected to a 2nd source-side inspection terminal TS1 respectively; odd-numbered gate lines are connected to a 1st gate-side inspection terminal TG0 and even-numbered gate lines are connected to a 2nd gate-side inspection terminal TG1 respectively; and, for example, gate open signals are outputted from the 1st gate-side inspection terminals TG0 and TG1 at the same time and a turn-on signal is outputted from one of the source-side inspection terminals TS0 and TS1, thereby turning on alternate columns. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
