PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resonator capable of ensuring the stability of an output, and of preventing an optical element from being damaged. SOLUTION: The resonator is adapted such that laser light is emitted by exciting laser media 1a, 1b, and the emitted laser light is resonated, amplified, and output with the aid of a total reflecting mirror 2 and an output mirror 3 being a partial reflecting mirror. The resonator is provided with an internal reflecting mirror 6 being a partial reflecting mirror such that a distance L2 from a reflective surface of the total reflecting mirror 2 to a reflective surface of the internal reflecting mirror 6 is (1/integer) times of a distance L1 from the reflective surface of the total reflecting mirror 2 to the reflecting mirror of the output mirror 3.
