PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a system which enables information equipment having a management controller independent of a CPU to monitor the operating time of components whose life is limited such as a battery/capacitor even in a stand-alone environment. SOLUTION: In this information equipment having a management controller independent of a CPU, the life of components mounted on the information equipment is managed by using a life management table which is connected to a management bus managed by the controller.
