PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when a sensor value deviates, the precision of the mapping of a room where a conventional autonomous traveling device is traveling deteriorates. SOLUTION: This autonomous traveling device is provided with: an environment map storing means for storing an environment map showing a room (traveling environment) 2; a traveling map preparing means for preparing a traveling map showing a traveling trace; and a sensor data correcting means for correcting the sensor data of an autonomous traveling device 1 from the environment map and the traveling map. Thus, it is possible to predict the sensor value of the autonomous traveling device 1 by making the autonomous traveling device 1 travel in the already known room 2, and to correct the predicted sensor value by comparing it with the sensor value of the autonomous traveling device 1 when it actually travels.
