PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barge allowing easy adjustment of the draft of each barge upon connecting a plurality of barges, and also to provide a connecting vessel with the barge. SOLUTION: This barge comprises a housing block body formed in a cylindrical form with a bottom and provided with a gateway for loading and unloading a consignment at the upper side, and a barge base provided with an inner space for installing the block body therein. The barge base is provided with a water injecting means for injecting water in the inner space, so that the draft of the barge base can be adjusted by the water injection to the inner space by the water injecting means. The connecting vessel is constructed by connecting such barge to a pusher barge. The barge base is provided with a water discharging means for discharging the water injected in the inner space to the outside of the barge base, so that the water in the inner space is discharged after connecting the barge to the pusher barge.
