PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method and device capable of cutting a neodymium-iron, which cutting so far is difficult to cut, increasing cutting efficacy, increasing a life of a cutting blade and improving a processing accuracy. SOLUTION: In a cutting device equipped with a rotating cutting blade 1, a piezoelectric element for torsional oscillation is fitted in a rotating cylinder and clamped at the rotating direction, and an alternating current is applied to the piezoelectric element. Further a ultrasonic wave oscillator and a cutting blade are integrated so as to give torsional oscillation mode and other oscillation modes to the cutting blade. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
