PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device which can grasp printed area and unprinted area of an image being printed with a picture image while printing the image, a display method of the printing device, a program and a storage medium. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with the following: a printing means to print a print image G10 gradually for a print target; and a displaying means (D10-D15) to display a visible image of the non-printed part which decreases gradually according to the print progress condition (G11, G12) of the above-mentioned print image G10. In this case, it is desirable that the above-mentioned displaying means visibly displays the above-mentioned unprinted part, as well as the printed part which increases gradually.
