PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the production efficiency of a metal case unit, in a method for manufacturing a composite component by bonding a resin member (second component) to a metal case (first component). SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the composite component comprises a surface treatment process for applying Alumite treatment to the metal case 2 to form a surface treatment layer, a lamination process for successively superposing a fixing member 3 for fixing a component to the inside of the case 2, an adhesive sheet 4 comprising an adhesive formed into a sheetlike shape and the case 2 one upon another in a thickness direction, a heating process for heating the case 2 and the adhesive sheet 4 at a temperature not lower than the melting temperature of the adhesive sheet 4 but not higher than a crack producing temperature causing a crack in the surface treatment layer until the adhesive sheet 4 is melted and a cooling process for cooling the case 2 until the adhesive sheet is cured. The heating process is performed before the hardness of the surface treatment layer arrives at stable hardness after Alumite treatment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
