PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a washing machine which can consistently perform remote control of a wash from the outside of a home. SOLUTION: Only when a reservation standby button 10 of the washing machine 2 is pushed, remote control by a portable telephone 5 can be executed from the outside of the home. Hence, by giving an operation start command from the portable phone 5, the reservation standby mode is immediately switched to an operation mode to surely perform wash control.
