PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipurpose chair formed of rectangular parallelepipeds and formed with six stages of seat faces by effectively using the whole surfaces of the six surfaces. SOLUTION: This chair is so formed that one surface A of the rectangular parallelepiped is formed into a plane, other five surfaces B-F are formed with recessed parts 2a-6a, one surface A and the bottom of the recessed parts 2a-6a of other five surfaces B-F are made into seat surfaces 1-6, and the depths of the respective recessed parts 2a-6a are formed different from one another. This chair allows to change the height of the seat surfaces into six stages by selecting one from respective surfaces A-F and placing the rectangular parallelepiped with its facing upward.
