A stabiliser for upright supports (5) for concrete shuttering, e.g. for ceilings and floors, has three angled legs (2, 3, 4) with their upright sections (11, 12, 13) Swivel mounted through two plates (9, 10) and secured to the upright by a fastening clip (14). The protruding legs (6, 7, 8) are swivelled out and have a shallow sloping position just above the ground. The stabiliser is folded flat for storage.
