The invention related to an electrically controlled parking brake for a motor vehicle comprising a control element (1) for actuating said parking brake and at least one control device (2, 9, 10) which drives an actuator (3, 4) of the parking brake when the control element (1) is actuated. The particularly simple configuration of the inventive parking brake comprises a control device (2) which is embodied in such a way that it simultaneously controls the actuator (4) of a wheel brake (5) and the actuator (3) for locking said wheel brake.
