<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for signal recording and reproduction that can find a recording medium where contents to be reproduced are recorded among a plurality of recording media in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: This signal recording and reproducing device has a recording and reproduction part which writes contents to a removable recording medium and reads them, a content data table generation part which writes a content data table having a recording medium identification number and a recording medium identification image for identifying the recording medium and content information regarding the contents to a memory, the memory which stores the content data table, and a display part which displays at least part of the content table and contents selected through the content table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
