<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an unnecessary wave component outside the desired band of a radio signal. <P>SOLUTION: Frequency converting parts 104a to 104n multiply a modulated transmission signal by a local signal to convert the frequency of the transmission signal into an intermediate frequency. Filter parts 105a to 105n attenuate a frequency region other than a desired signal region for the transmission signal after frequency conversion. Further, E/O parts 106a to 106n convert the transmission signal from an electric signal into an optical signal and output the optical signal to O/E parts 151a to 151n of a base station device 150. The O/E parts 151a to 151n convert the optical signal into an electric signal, and the filter parts 152a to 152n attenuate a frequency region other than the desired signal region for the transmission signal that has been converted into the electric signal.
