摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptive layer forming method capable of forming a receptive layer having a more uniform film thickness and to provide a coating object on which the receptive layer is formed. <P>SOLUTION: A protective layer 13 is provided on a ring-shaped disk substrate 11 and concave grooves 15A and 15B are formed at an inner peripheral side boundary part 14a and an outer peripheral side boundary part 14b of the ring-shaped receptive layer 14 on a printing surface 13a of the protective layer 13. Each concave grooves 15A and 15B is formed in a nearly V-shape in a cross sectional view and its depth D is formed so as to be equal to or deeper than the film thickness of a central region 14c of the receptive layer. If a coating liquid is applied on the printing surface and then dried, inner and outer peripheral side boundary parts 14Aa and 14Ab at the both ends in a radial direction of a coating film 14A are not dried prior to a central region 14Ac of the coating film 14A since they have thicker thicknesses by the concave grooves 15A and 15B. Thereby, flow of the coating liquid from the boundary parts 14Aa and 14Ab is suppressed, the film thickness of the central region 14c is uniform and flat in the state where the receptive layer 14 is formed and the film thicknesses of the boundary parts 14a and 14b are made near to the thickness of the central region 14c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
