IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming method capable of giving a good image independently of a change of environmental humidity.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a developing section which supplies a toner to a photoreceptor 17 to convert an electrostatic latent image to an actual image and a toner replenishing section which replenishes a toner to the developing section, wherein the toner replenishing section has a plurality of toner containing parts A and B which separately contain toners different from each other in the amount of a metallic salt of a fatty acid added externally and a control means to perform control so that a toner used is selected on the basis of humidity and this toner is replenished from a toner containing part in which the toner is contained to the developing section.
