METHOD FOR ISOLATING NEW HALOPEROXIDASE GENE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for efficiently isolating a haloperoxidase gene from various microorganism resources without passing through a culture process.

SOLUTION: This method for isolating the haloperoxidase gene is characterized by amplifying the fragment of a haloperoxidase gene contained in a sample with a primer designed on an amino acid sequence region highly retained among a plurality of haloperoxidases, and producing a hybrid gene from the fragment and a known haloperoxidase gene.
