<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus camera capable of improving usage efficiency and also improving photographing precision by performing settings for photographing the fundus oculi image of an eye to be examined in conjunction with each other. <P>SOLUTION: When an examiner sets a photographing mode, the kind of a photographing medium and a photographing magnification by using a control panel 30, a control means 140 sets the stop value of a photographing diaphragm 121 at a prescribed initial value corresponding to the setting condition information and sets a range capable of further changing the stop value of the photographing diaphragm 121.
