PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera which is small-sized and easy to carry, has a communication functions, is capable of distinguishing a photographed image from a display image obtained by communication so that inappropriate copying and confusion are prevented. SOLUTION: The electronic camera includes: an imaging control section 2 for picking up an image; a communication section 4 for receiving a transmitted image; and a display section 6 for displaying a photographed image and the transmitted image.
