PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a rough center vertical angle of distribution signal source, using a pair of circular array antennas, to estimate a center horizontal angle of the signal source, by applying the estimated rough center vertical angle to a two-dimensional expense function, and to estimate a center vertical angle of the signal source, by applying the estimated center horizontal angle to the two-dimensional expense function, so as to reduce a degree of complication in a signal arrival direction estimating method for the signal source, and so as to prevent a problem of the local maximum. SOLUTION: This distribution signal source searching device for a base station includes the pair of circular array antennas 100 separated vertically with a prescribed distance, a preprocessing part 110 for estimating the rough center vertical angle of the distribution signal source received through the pair of circular array antenna 100, a center horizontal angle searching part 120 for estimating the center horizontal angle of the signal source, using the rough center vertical angle, and a center vertical angle searching part 130 for estimating the center vertical angle of the signal source, using the estimated center horizontal angle.
