PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable self-diagnosis for determining which fault of positive side excitation and negative side excitation in an excitation circuit is a cause, when opening of a coil happens. SOLUTION: When a positive excitation determination current value IexPOS is determined to be out of a design range for a positive excitation current value by a positive excitation current value determination part 44, and a negative excitation determination current value IexNEG is determined to be within a design range for a negative excitation current value by a negative excitation current value determination part 45, an excitation circuit self-diagnosis part 47 performs self-diagnosis to determine occurrence of a positive side excitation abnormality in the excitation circuit 15. When the positive excitation determination current value IexPOS is determined to be within the design range for the positive excitation current value by the positive excitation current value determination part 44, and the negative excitation determination current value IexNEG is determined to be out of the design range for the negative excitation current value by the negative excitation current value determination part 45, the excitation circuit self-diagnosis part 47 performs self-diagnosis to determine occurrence of a negative side excitation abnormality in the excitation circuit 15.
