PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the defect in position measurement on a wireless terminal device using relative propagation time and base station coordinates that a position measurement error can be gross depending on a selection method of a base station serving as a basis of the relative propagation time. SOLUTION: In a method of selecting a basis for relative propagation time, a wireless terminal device or a server device having a basis station selecting means is used for: (1) selecting a basis station causing total relative propagation time to be 0 or positive, (2) selecting a basis station minimizing the sum of squares of relative propagation time, or (3) selecting a basis station minimizing the value of a performance function used for position measurement calculation.
