PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to prevent impact noises at switching of a relay switch. SOLUTION: A plunger assembly 40 for moving forward and backward a movable piece 58 equipped with a pair of movable contacts 59, 59 coming in and out of contact with a pair of fixed contacts 25, 25 is provided with a coil bobbin 42 with a coil wire rod 41 wound, yokes 43, 44 surrounding the coil bobbin 42, a plunger 53 arranged inside a winding part 42a of the coil bobbin in free advance and retreat in an axis direction to support the movable piece 58, a spring 54 always biasing the plunger 53 in a direction of the movable piece 58 getting away from the fixed contacts 25, a soundproof ring 57 interposed between the plunger 53 and the yoke 44, and a soundproof ring 46 interposed between the plunger 53 and the coil bobbin 42. In doing so, the impact noise at returning of the plunger by the spring can be prevented by the soundproof ring 57, and the impact noise at excitation of the plunger can be attenuated by the soundproof ring 46.
