PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer and its data matching method for executing data matching by reducing the load of a slave computer side without increasing the load of a master computer. SOLUTION: This computer is provided with a data receiving part 124 for receiving and processing data transmitted from a master computer 11, a table 123 for reception for storing the data received by the data receiving part 124 and a slave database changing part 122 for reading the data from the table 123 for reception and for storing updated data in a slave database 121. The data receiving part 124 retrieves the number of times of update of the data on the basis of the kind and record number of the data, and when the retrieved number of times of update is larger than a set threshold, the data receiving part 124 sets a holding time to acquire a holding status, and performs the update of the data after the lapse of the holding time or in response to a reference request.
