PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner for a vehicle which can prevent an abnormal pressure increase in a high pressure passage from occurring without discharging a refrigerant to the outside by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This air-conditioner for a vehicle is equipped with a circulation circuit which includes the high-pressure passage and a low-pressure passage, and in which the refrigerant circulates, a communication passage 42 which extends between the high-pressure passage and the low-pressure passage and a safety valve 44. In this case, the safety valve 44 is inserted in the communication passage 42, and allows the flowing of the refrigerant only in the direction from the high-pressure passage to the low-pressure passage when a pressure in the high-pressure passage exceeds a predetermined pressure.
