An ultrasonic endoscope includes: an optical image acquisition device for acquiring an optical image of an examinee; an ultrasonograph acquisition device for acquiring an ultrasonograph of the examinee; a position information acquisition device for acquiring position information on the optical image acquisition device with respect to the examinee when the optical image is acquired; and a matching circuit for matching the optical image obtained by the optical image acquisition device according to the position information obtained by the position information acquisition device with the ultrasonograph obtained by the ultrasonograph acquisition device. |
