<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new production method for efficiently producing a soft capsule whose outer skin is formed literally in a soft state, based on the premise that sufficient adhesion-proof property is provided in the soft capsule even in high temperature/humidity. <P>SOLUTION: The soft capsule 1 is obtained by substantially uniformly dispensing hydrophobic particulate matters P in a powdery state, such as corn starch, fecula, starch, and rice powder, to a solution of gelatin G in a molten state, forming a membrane to be the outer skin 2 of the capsule, and then, drying it. When contained moisture vaporizes by drying in the outer skin 2, the added hydrophobic particulate matters P appears, so as to form recessed/projected surfaces 2a on the surface of the outer skin.
