PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label for specimen tube which can be kept surely stuck to a resin specimen tube made finer in diameter than heretofore, is subjected to printing for management on the surface, is improved in sticking performance to the specimen tube and properly performs the display management of the specimen tube or specimen. SOLUTION: The label for specimen tube to be stuck to a specimen tube is formed by selecting a tacky adhesive suitable for the resin specimen tube and has a printing layer 6 and a tacky adhesive layer 5 on the front and rear surfaces of a label substrate 3 by noticing the weakening of the stiffness (rigidity) of paper (label substrate 3) which is the cause for floating, peeling, etc., of the label by reducing the thickness of the label for the specimen tube itself. The label is characterised in that the thickness of the label substrate is specified to 60 to 70μm and a polyolefin-based tacky adhesive is used for the tacky adhesive of the tacky adhesive layer 5.
