<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment method and apparatus which can purify organic wastewater produced in a large quantity from a fishing port, a fish market, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The organic wastewater treatment apparatus comprises a foam separation tank 5, an air bubble formation means 16 that is installed within the tank 5 and forms fine air bubbles in the wastewater, and a membrane separation activated sludge treatment tank 10 into which the formed foam 7 is introduced. The organic wastewater produced from a fishing port, a fish market, or the like is freed from solid matter such as fish meat pieces by means of a settling layer 2 or a screen 3, the resultant wastewater is aerated in the foam separation tank 5, and the foam 7 produced by the aeration is subjected to an activated sludge treatment and membrane separation in the membrane activated sludge treatment tank 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
