<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make independent a partial stream in MPEG-2 streams which are multiplexed and compressed in a time division manner, or to combine the partial stream to the other stream in a simple configuration and further to reproduce a substantially normal video/audio signal when the restriction conditions of an MPEG standard are fulfilled in reproduction. <P>SOLUTION: When portions of each of two MPEG-2 streams 100, 200 are combined into a new stream 300, a sequence start information packet is inserted at the top of each of the partial streams, a sequence end information packet is inserted at the end, and then the resultant partial streams are combined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
