PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a high lift work vehicle in which playback control can be restarted even when a work base 5 is deviated from a moving route. SOLUTION: A playback control means 15 in this control device for a high lift work vehicle is provided with a route deviation determining part 23 to determine if the position of the work base is deviated from the moving route in restarting playback control after stopping the playback control, a target route computing part 24 to compute a target route to return the work base to the moving route toward a target moving direction when it is determined by the route deviation determining part 23 that it is deviated, and an initialstage control part 25 to move the work base along the target route first in restarting the playback control after stopping the playback control.
