PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a castor for a truck and the truck by which the transporting property can be increased by increasing the cushioning performance against impacts and vibrations in the longitudinal direction, and stability of a mounted cargo or the like can be increased by reducing fatigue by impacts or vibrations, and in addition, the variation in the cushioning performance for vibrations or impacts by the weight of the cargo or the like can be suppressed. SOLUTION: This castor 10 for the truck has a suspending device 11 which is provided on a bracket 20 and supports a wheel 12. One end part of the suspending device 11 is freely rockably provided at the lower end position of the bracket 20, and the other end part is supported by the axle 22 of the wheel 12. At the same time, the suspending device 11 is equipped with a connecting member 24 which is constituted in a manner to tilt at a specified angle in the advancing direction, and an elastic member 40 which is provided at the lower end position of the bracket 20 and adds a restoring force to the rocking movement of the connecting member 24.
