PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum defrosting machine with a chamber having low manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The chamber 18 has a trunk member 34, a front member 35 having an opening portion 39 blanked for serving as an access for a defrosted object and joined to the front part of the trunk member 34, and a rear member 36 formed of such a member that the opening portion 39 is blanked from the front member 35 and joined to the rear part of the trunk member 34. Besides, the trunk member 34 of the chamber 18 is welded 37 to the upper part of a side face portion on the pivotal support side of a door for opening/closing the opening portion 39 or welded to upper and lower face portions so that a dish on which the defrosted object is placed is located above the welded part of the lower face portion.
