PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink ribbon cartridge having the configuration in which an ink ribbon is easy to insert through a slit of a ribbon retaining part, and the ink ribbon once inserted is hard to slip off, and to provide a recording device. SOLUTION: A ribbon guide 70 to be attached to the ink ribbon is provided. The ribbon guide 70 has the ribbon retaining part 70C opposite to a face of the recording side of the ink ribbon. The ribbon retaining part 70C is equipped with the slit 72 to pass the ink ribbon through. The slit 72 has an inclined part 72A which extends slantwise to a sending direction of the ink ribbon.
