PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system whereby a position and/or a posture of a tool in a robot can be given as a function of time. SOLUTION: This tool control system is provided with a program making means for making a motion table 1 wherein a time base is taken in a line direction and a respective motion axis of the robot is taken in the column direction, and a value of displacement of the respective motion axis is described; and a motion operator 4 for reading the motion table 1 and operating the tool such as the robot.
